The Edina Historical Society (EHS) provides scanning, copying, and image use services to support research, publication, and personal projects. All images and documents are handled with care to ensure the preservation of our collections.
Use of EHS images requires credit to the Edina Historical Society and completion of an Image Use Permission Form.
Image use fees apply when EHS images are reproduced in publications, media, or other public formats.
Books, brochures, magazines, newspapers: $20 per image
Websites, television, film, or video productions: $50 per image
Advertising: $80 per image
Merchandise: $50 per image
Public display: $25 per image
Other uses may be discussed with EHS staff.
We offer digital scans for both research/reference use and high-quality publication or print use.
Standard digital scan (research/reference use): $5 per page
High-resolution digital scan (publication or print use): $8 per page
Standard digital scan (research/reference use): $8 per image
High-resolution digital scan (publication or print use): $10 per image
Digital files are delivered electronically unless otherwise requested.
Printed copies of scanned materials (up to 8.5 × 11 inches) are available upon request.
Standard print: $7 per page
High-resolution print: $10 per page
Standard print (black & white): $10 per image
Standard print (color): $12 per image
High-resolution print (black & white): $12 per image
High-resolution print (color): $14 per image
Visitors may photograph documents for personal research use. A suggested $2 donation per document is appreciated to support the ongoing care and preservation of the collection.
