Board service at EHS is an opportunity to help shape how Edina’s stories are preserved, interpreted, and shared. Board members work collaboratively with staff and volunteers to guide the organization’s vision, strengthen community connections, and support programs, exhibits, membership, sponsorships, and fundraising efforts.
We are especially interested in individuals who:
Care about local history and community storytelling
Enjoy collaborative leadership and thoughtful problem-solving
Bring skills or perspectives in areas such as education, communications, fundraising, programming, governance, or community engagement
The Board consists of eleven members. Directors are elected to serve a three-year term and are expected to participate actively in board meetings and at least one committee.
If you are interested in learning more about serving in a leadership role with the Edina Historical Society, we’d love to hear from you. Please contact our Executive Director Raquel Dwyer at 612-928-4577 or museum@edinahistoricalsociety.org, or speak with any current board member for more information.
