Welcome to the museum gift shop
The Edina History Museum Gift Shop carries a select number of items that support our mission of educating the public about Edina history. Proceeds from sales help fund our programs. The gift shop is open during regular museum hours or by appointment. We can ship orders to you or your gift recipient, but please keep in mind that we're a small organization run primarily by part-time staff and volunteers. Allow plenty of time for delivery and call ahead to confirm stock. If you would like to use your credit card to purchase merchandise and have it shipped to you, please call us at 612-928-4577 or email us and we can arrange it.

Nine-Mile Creek history
Historian Deborah Morse Kahn, author of Edina: Chapters in the City History and several other books, turns her attention to the history of Nine Mile Creek as well as the 50-year history of the Watershed District that manages its well-being $9.95 plus tax.

Braemar: Celebrating the Forty-Year History of Braemar Golf Course is a beautiful coffee-table style hardcover book with full-color photos and funny and true stories from golfers and staff. Author Roger Harrold, Edina resident and retired University of Minnesota faculty member, captures the complete history of Edina's municipal course. $29.95 plus tax.

In 1979, the Heritage Preservation Board of the City of Edina conducted a historic building survey of the entire community. The results highlight 28 individual properties and the historic neighborhoods of Morningside, Country Club District and West Minneapolis Heights. The book includes photos and a listing of homes erected before 1900 and between 1900 and 1920.

Every year since Edina's Centennial celebration in 1988, Edina Historical Society has spotlighted a landmark on its annual Christmas tree ornament. The individually hand-painted ornaments are a small piece of local art with a scene from the community. This year's ornament features a 75-year-old landmark, the Convention Grill, located in the Morningside neighborhood. Our artist handpainted a scene similar to the photo pictured at left.

Prints include line-drawings (similar to the one above) of several Edina landmarks, such as the Edina Mill, Wooddale School, the Baird House and more. Stationery is available in the same style. Doors of the Country Club poster This poster features photographs of the many unique doors of the historic Country Club District on a soft yellow background. Lou Blemaster, realtor with Edina Realty, created this poster several years ago to promote the neighborhood and it quickly became popular with all residents. $15 Edina Mill poster by Leonard Fellman Artist Leonard Fellman used historic photographs to paint the Edina Mill as it looked at the turn of the century. A farmer with a horse-drawn wagon crosses Browndale Bridge over Minnehaha Creek next to the famous red Edina Mill. Numbered, signed prints. $50. Sale! T-shirtsAll shirts must go! Only $5 per shirt. The Edina Historical Society offers two great designs, one with a painting of downtown Edina featuring the Edina Theater and the other of the Edina Mill painting by Leonard Fellman. Both feature full color images on a white background. Both long and short sleeve styles are available. Lapel trading pinsWe offer a unique lapel pin for trading or a small host gift. The small pin features the Edina Centennial (celebrated in 1988) logo of the Edina Mill in green on a gold background. Trading pins has become popular with sports teams trading with other teams at tournaments or with exchange students wanting to present small gifts from their hometowns. $5 each.
