In this hands-on, full-day workshop, participants will explore the history of Bronze Age metallurgy before creating their own replica sword using traditional sand-casting techniques.
Choose from authentic Bronze Age sword designs, make your own casting mold, and watch as molten aluminum—heated to over 1,400 degrees—is poured into your creation. After the casting is complete, you'll help finish your sword by smoothing, polishing, and wrapping the handle in leather before taking your finished piece home.
