Join us for an evening of heartfelt folk and Americana music with Haley E. Rydell and Doyle Turner — two acclaimed Minnesota songwriters whose music is rooted in storytelling, authenticity, and the landscapes of the Midwest.
Haley E. Rydell, best known for her work with Buffalo Gospel and The Lowland Lakers, brings songs from her powerful solo album Midwestern Daughter — an intimate collection exploring identity, love, family, and life in small-town America. With warm vocals, masterful fiddle playing, and deeply personal songwriting, Rydell’s music has been described as “absolutely gorgeous, like Patty Griffin sitting in with The Weepies.”
Doyle Turner, a Northern Minnesota songwriter raised on the White Earth Nation, blends folk, rock, and Americana into songs that explore connection, memory, and the journeys that shape us. His latest album Paper Maps has been praised for its honesty and emotional depth, with Mpls./St.Paul Magazine noting that “Turner creates from the heart without filter or pretense.”
Together, Rydell and Turner offer an evening of rich harmonies, vivid storytelling, and songs that feel both deeply personal and universally familiar — music for anyone who has ever searched for home, belonging, or the courage to live truthfully.
