Cost per session: $10, or less for BIPOC students or those experiencing adverse circumstances Careers in the field of history are diverse and plentiful these days. For students interested in this type of career it can be a challenge deciding which path to take. The Careers in History Program offers high school students a unique opportunity to visit behind-the-scenes of Minnesotan museums to learn about careers in collections care and conservation, curation, academia, grant writing, scholarships, internships, and more! These classes are recommended for high school students aged 15 - 18 interested in history careers. Each session covers a different topic with a Zoom class one week before the museum visit. Fridays, June 10th & 17th: Collection Management with the Minnesota Historical Society Fridays, July 15th & 22nd: Curation and Academia at the University of St. Thomas Fridays, August 5th & 12th: Internships, Scholarships, and Grants with the Hennepin History Museum |
