Growing Up in Edina: A Show and Tell exhibit
opening Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011 - Doors open at 1 p.m.

If you grew up in Edina, you can be part of the Edina History Museum's next display "Growing Up in Edina: A Show and Tell Exhibit."

Loan or donate your childhood treasure or photo and tell us about it. Contribute your story before Aug. 1. (Deadline extended.) At least one photo will be included from each participant; objects will be included on a space available basis.

Help us show and tell today's children how life was different (or similar) for kids when you were growing up.

Did you play in Minnehaha Creek? Walk three miles in the snow - uphill both ways - to get to school? How did you celebrate your birthday? What Edina businesses were great attractions for children?

Ideas for topics are outlined in the document below. We're looking for toys, games, clothing, lunch boxes, uniforms, art work, school projects, photos and more!
